You Know You Have A Problem With Alcohol When:

You can't explain the rug burns on your forehead.

You go to light a cigarette and burn your nostril hairs.

English suddenly become a second language.

You try to use the same condom twice.

Your schooling starts to interfere with your drinking.

Surviving the Weekend:

“Can You Drink Responsibly?”

Through humor and audience participation I examine: Warning Signs of Alcohol Abuse  HOW To Drink Responsibly HOW Attitude Affect Risky Behavior HOW Drugs & Alcohol Affect  Sexual Decisions.

I give a personal narrative of surviving my own problems with alcohol including an alcohol related sexual assault. I talk about how my dependence on alcohol and my decision to quit drinking in my first year of college. I do not advocate abstinence from alcohol but rather informed choice responsibility and basic awareness.

I would not hesitate in bringing River Huston back to Bridgewater State College or to any institution. Her natural sense of humor made the heaviness of the material very easy to receive.
