Jesus Never Lived Here

This is my first collection of poetry. It is more of a chapbook and there are very few left. This book contains all my poetry slam winning work and reminisces of living on the Lower East Side of Manhattan before it was all prettied up.

The Bones of Susan

My second collection of poetry is a conventional book that bridges my life on the street and my life now as a writer, performer and lecturer. These are the poems that inspired people to honor me as Poet Laureate of Bucks Country in 1996.

In Which I Lost a Thousand Pounds

This is the third collection and it is a memoir / memorial of sorts. It includes all the poems from my one women show, Sex, Cellulite and Large Farm Equipment: One Girls Guide to Living and Dying as well as a section about the people I have lost over the years, my battle with AIDS and a chronic often fatal bleeding disorder.

A Positive Life: Portraits of Women Living With HIV

This Book is for everyone. It has been used as a textbook in schools and colleges. The Department of Health in Oregon ordered copies and gave them to doctors and clinics throughout their state.

I have found that it is inspirational to all people faced with life-threatening diseases especially when they are first diagnosed. It helps them to realize that they are not alone and that there are many ways of coping with seemingly hopeless situations.
